Most commonly, hybrid cars are somewhat more expensive than their twin models running on gasoline. However, over time, due to the fact that the fuel consumption of hybrid cars is much less, by saving on fuel you actually return the funds overpaid for an additional electric motor.
Let us have a look at this short example:
With an average annual mileage of 20,000 km and a gasoline price of 1 manat per liter (H6 runs on gasoline with an octane value of A92) car’ annual fuel consumption will be:
H6: 10.2L * (20,000 km / 100km) * 1 AZN = 10.5 * 200 * 1 = 2040 manats
H6 Hybrid: 5.2L * (20,000 km / 100km) * 1 AZN = 5.2 * 200 * 1 = 1040 manats 
In fact, this results in saving AZN 1,000 per year (or 20,000 km)

What Are The Advantages Of Hybrid Cars?

In addition, a hybrid car significantly reduces the amount of harmful  emissions, which is achieved by fully automating engine control using an on-board computer - starting from the timely shutdown of the engine during a stop in traffic with the possibility of immediate resumption of movement without starting it, solely on the energy stored in the energy accumulator, and ending with a more complex recovery mechanism - the use of the kinetic energy of a moving vehicle during braking to charge the energy accumulator when the electric motor is operating in the  power generator mode.
At the moment, the Haval hybrid range in Azerbaijan is represented by the H6 Hybrid model. However, the Haval brand dealer company Azerbaijan Automobiles has plans to expand the hybrid line in the country by mid-2023.
